Mercedes-Benz A45 AMG Unmasked

Mercedes-Benz has made public the first genuine images of the A45 AMG ahead of Geneva debut.

Last year we across a slightly veiled sample of the A45 AMG and now here is the the production-ready model which will be available for order this April.

The 2.0-liter, 4-cylinder turbocharged engine is expected to return 360 HP (265 kW) at 6,000 rpm & 450 Nm (332 lb-ft) of torque amounting 2,250 – 5,000 rpm. Power will be given to all four wheels through a dual-clutch, seven-speed transmission with Race Start function.

It is likely to cover the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) sprint in 4.6 seconds on the way to a top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph). The Mercedes-Benz A45 AMG is hoped to have an average fuel ability of 6.9 – 7.1 liters / 100 km and CO2 emissions between 161 – 165 g/km.

The A45 is the bespoke model and it has the wherewithal to give sleepless nights to its rivals belonging to the same category.
