A prototype of the 2015 Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Estate has been caught on camera yet again while testing in Scandinavia ahead of next year’s launch.
Mercedes-Benz is currently working on quite a few AMG versions of the new C-Class as they want to offer a C63 sedan, wagon, convertible and coupe. Seen here is the more practical estate variant equipped with features such as single-bar front grille, a quad exhaust system, along with beefy AMG alloys and brakes.
Power of the entire AMG C-Class range will be generated from a V8 4.0-liter twin-turbo engine created by joining together the 4-cylinder 2.0-liter turbo motor of the AMG A-Class lineup. As per some of the reports the C63 AMGs will offer an output of around 450 HP (331 kW) in standard guise and more than 500 HP (368 kW) in an even hotter version. The same engine will also find its way inside the upcoming “AMG GT” but probably with a different output.
The first to see the light of day will be the C63 AMG Sedan that will be unveiled early next year and probably will be followed by the Estate a few months later.
