Mercedes-Benz will reveal C-Class in 2015

Mercedes has now taken the wraps from their next-generation which is C-Class that is the whole lot bigger, lighter and better than their predecessor. The out-going Mercedes C-Class was the most successful model of the car till date clocking more than 2.4 million units and so replacing it will need something which is really extra convincing. Moreover, C-Class is well known as the ‘Baby Benz’ but with CLA all around, it had grown up and so this new car is now about 95mm longer as well as 40mm wider than old car. Also, wheelbase even goes up by about 95mm.

The enhanced dimensions notwithstanding the aluminum hybrid body along with other technology of weight saving which have reduced their weight by about 100 kilograms. On styling front, this new C-Class bear similar family design cues as the latest S-Class, updated E-Class and A-Class.

Coming on the technological advances in this car, it has the latest S-Class systems which feature in the list of C-Class. It consists of Attention Assist, Collision deterrence Assist Plus and Adaptive Brake Assist. However, second one is capable of braking separately at the speeds of about 200kph. Optional safety along with assistance systems from latest S-Class and updated model of E-Class consist of Distronic Plus with the Steering Assist, Active Lane Keeping Assist, Brake Assist System, 360 degree camera, Active Parking Assist, Traffic Sign Assist, Adaptive High Beam Assist Plus and Wrong Way Alert assist.
