The Mercedes-Benz X-Class will presumably be built on a ladder frame, have two locking differentials (presuming front and back) and will be true to the G-Wagen and GLE-Class heritage. Previous reports likewise indicate the mid-sized pickup will utilize a diesel V-6 and 4Matic all-wheel-drive system. The interior of the automobile will most likely match the Mercedes-Benz level of high-end however we would not be surprised if vinyl seats were an alternative since it will not be readily available in the US.
