Mercedes SL Avalange GT-R announced by JMS and PIECHA Design

by David Bond

JMS and PIECHA Design have joined hands to create the Mercedes SL Avalange GT-R.

Designed to add some flare to the “boring” convertible, the Avalange GT-R has been equipped with features such as a new front bumper, a revised grille and LED daytime running lights. According to both companies, the styling (that has been done by them) is completely logical and it gives the impression as if there had never been another front for the vehicle.

Moving further towards the rear, we can see aerodynamic side skirts, polished aluminum side fins and a rear spoiler. The model also has a sporty rear bumper and a stylish diffuser.

Full details have not been released yet and the same will be released in April but JMS and PIECHA Design expect the package to come at a price of around € 12,000 (approx $ 16,570 / £ 9,890). The companies will also offer performance upgrades, a sports exhaust system, suspension modifications and new tires and wheels.

The updated model looks pretty fascinating but we will have to wait till some more details are finally revealed and final price of the model is announced.
