Mercedes has released its latest promotional video of the SLS AMG Black Series which ran through a few laps at the Paul Ricard Circuit.

The Mercedes SLS AMG Black Series looks quite composed in the video and tackled the legendary track quite comprehensively before taking a leisurely stroll on the scenic roads that surround the venue.

As previously reported the SLS AMG Black Series has a GT3-inspired body kit that consists of features such as modified bumpers, revised side skirts and flared fenders. The super car also has a rear diffuser, a carbon fiber wing and 19 / 20-inch wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires.

The super car comes fitted with a 6.2-liter V8 engine that has a fully redesigned high-speed valve train with modified camshafts, adapted cam geometry and optimized bucket tappets featuring a special coating that is typically used on race cars. With the help of these modifications, the engine can generate a power of 622 bhp (464 kW) and 468 lb-ft (634 Nm) of torque. The engine is well connected to a seven-speed AMG SPEEDSHIFT dual-clutch transmission.

The car has a weight of 3,417 lb (1,550 kg). The car can accelerate to 0-60 mph in just 3.5 seconds and has a top speed of 196 mph (315 kmph).
