Mitsubishi announces the Lancer Evolution

The 2015 Mitsubishi Lancer Advancement Final Version is the last breath of ten generations of Lancer Evolution, three of which involved the United States. Mitsubishi introduced a Last Edition Evo X in Japan earlier this year, after teasing a 473-horsepower concept at the Tokyo Vehicle Salon, currently it’s our turn.

Built on the reduced GSR trim, our version gets 303 hp, a bump of 12 hp, and also torque increases by five pound-feet to 305 lb-ft. The larger alteration is perhaps the fitment of Bilstein shocks wrapped in Eibach springtimes all over, plus two-piece Brembo calipers on the front axle, all which come common on the upper-level MR trim. Dark chrome Enkei wheels match the dark chrome front grille surround.

Like the grille, other adjustments for the Last Version look ornamental: black light weight aluminum roofing, black interior with red accent sewing, and unique badging. Mitsubishi is putting 1,600 on sale right here, every one with a numbered plaque merely ahead of the shifter for the five-speed manual transmission. A 2nd badge makes a look on the decklid.

Last Edition Evos can be found in among 4 shades, new Pearl White, Rally Red, Mercury Gray and Octane Blue, and set you back $37,995. That price puts it $700 over the GSR Costs trim, and also $1,000 below the entry MR trim.
