Mitsubishi Concept XR-PHEV Evolution Vision Gran Turismo revealed for the virtual world

Vision Gran Turismo is a project in which the world’s leading brands develop concept cars for Gran Turismo. Lately we have seen virtual concepts by Volkswagen, BMW and Mercedes-Benz.

The latest to introduce their virtual world race car is Mitsubishi with their Concept XR-PHEV Evolution Vision Gran Turismo.

This sporty Mitsubishi is exclusively available to race on Gran Turismo 6 with the 1.08 update. You can either buy it or obtain it free by completing a lap in the new Seasonal Event, available only for a limited time.

The styling of virtual concept follows on the heels of Concept XR-PHEV shown at the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show with a much more aggressive look.

There are also some production bound details like the iconic front grill, which is a study of next generation Mitsubishi automobiles.

Even though this car is far from being produced in real life it is visualized for the game with the Plug-in Hybrid EV System linked to an 8 speed dual clutch transmission (DCT) driving the 4 wheels.
