Trailers of the games to come are but a normal and very common way gamers advertise or get information of their games to probable gamers. The actual graphics and details of the game are though kept away when making these trailers and that way interest of the gamer is teased up. Case of the game trailers of Resident Evil 5 and Halo 3: ODST are best suited to drive home this point.
Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit which is the latest in the NFS series also have come out with a trailer. There is however the spectacular live action realization of the chase from the E3 reveal trailer that has been used in this trailer.
The original trailer depicted a chase where a Koenigsegg CCX, Pagani Zonda Cinque and McLaren MP4-12C are pursued by two Ford Shelby GT500s, a Bugatti Veyron, a Lamborghini Murciélago and a Bell 206 helicopter. But the video is no comparison to the reality where an orange Zonda Cinque, police issue Murciélago was chased by a Bell 206 through the Italian Alps.
