The New 2011 Land Rover LR2 revealed

by Alex

The Land Rover LR2 is also known Freelander in some other markets. You had the opportunity to see some of the first spy photos of the next Land Rover LR2 not more than two months ago on the web. The granular images of the sedan have leaked onto the internet web, revealing the few bits that were disguise or masked earlier.

The leaked grainy photographs reveal some of the tweaks difficult to detect and grasp or analyze by the minds of regular buyers of the car. The tweaks include the fog lights and air dam intake inlets. In addition, an additional under body protection plate that helps in guarding against off-road obstacles, just in case the sedan is ever reduced to actual off-road service, contributes to the recent makeover of the SUV. The facelift is wrapped up with a few other cosmetic changes at the rear.

The automobile experts expect, the “new” LR2 to get a slight redesign and some new entertainment options and features inside the sedan. However the super car retains a substantially identical look and feel. The tweaks or upgrades however are not truly surprising in any way as the updates are not implausibly spectacular or sweeping. In spite of all the expectations, you must note that this update is just a facelift to help push the old and worn model until the next-gen vehicle is made available in a few years time.
