The New Audi RS4 Spied For The First Time: Spy Shots

by Ionut Dragomir

The German brand Audi decided to revive the looks of the Audi RS5 Coupé for the 2012 model year, but it seems that this facelift isn’t the only surprise for us because the manufacturer has an ace up his sleeve. While its big brother, the 2012 Audi RS5, shows its muscles in the spotlights at 2011 Frankfurt Auto Show, the new Audi RS4 take some hot laps on the Nürburgring for a high-speed test. Well, the spy photographers managed to take some spy shots and we can show them to you today.

Despite the camouflage, we can easily see its big air intakes at the front, the wider fenders and the massive oval exhaust pipes which really stands out.

At this time no official details are available, but expect the power to come from the same 4.2 liter V8 delivering some 450 horsepower as found in the RS5, unless Audi also plays the down-sizing game and gives the RS4 a twin-turbo V6 delivering about the same amount of power.

In addition to that, this prototype also shows the lights and grille from the upcoming facelift that will come all over the A4/S4 range. Check our photo gallery below and feel free to share your thoughts with us using the comment section.
