Bugatti has declared an all-new model is on the way and will be revealed in the end of 2015 or first few months of 2016.

The Bugatti Veyron was released in 2005 so now a new model is under construction and confirms to be “more than” just a rework, according to Volkwagen Group’s design chief, Walter de Silva. As per the interview given to Top Gear, he declined to give any extra information but he added that it is going to be a “piece of art”, he further said that the the company has made “a lot of effort in the technology” to in making a product that is going to “redefine the benchmarks.”

As per the recent rumors, Bugatti’s new model will be restricted to an estimated of 450 units and will stay with the Veyron’s W16 8.0-liter quad turbo engine although added with an electric motor. The proposed hybrid system is thought to generate 1,500 PS (1,103 kW) which should let the French supercar gain a highest speed of over 270 mph (435 km/h). Some notable weight saving steps are also prepared in order to offset the additional hybrid technology, especially taking into assumption the Veyron weighs about 1,888 kg (4,162 lbs).
