New Details Emerge on the KTM X-Bow GT4 Racecar

Some of the automotive enthusiasts in the world may have been expecting the arrival of the KTM X-Bow GT4 racecar which has a very stunning look. The racecar comes as a result of collaboration between KTM and Reiter Engineering. The vehicle is set to be homologated for the Pirelli World Challenge GT-S and the SRO GT4 classes.

Although the company might have not revealed too much about this racing version of the X-Bow before, only the road legal version, new details have now emerged regarding the racing version. The car is going to look just as stunning as KTM’s already awesome road legal X-Bow model. As a matter of fact, there are some points at which the car may even prove to be unrecognizable. To begin with, the front fascia of the racecar sports angular lines that seem a bit less outlandish when compared to its road legal counterpart. In addition to that, the vehicle also comes with a glass cockpit, marked by swooping lines that stretch towards the largely sized wing at the rear end of the car.

Of course, a racecar is not all about looks but more about performance. In this case, the racecar in question has the ability to burst out a total power of 320 hp. This power comes from the vehicle’s 2.0L TFSI engine, which the automaker will pair with a 6-speed sequential gearbox. The latter is manufactured by Holinger and it comes equipped with paddle shifters.

The racecar will prove to be one of the best options to choose when it comes to a racecar, at least according to the Reiter Engineering. As the company points out, here, the car offers not only very modern racing tech, but also a safety concept that is truly impressive. Furthermore, the base model for the racecar, the road legal variant of the KTM X-Bow GT4 racecar, has been tested for no less than six whole years on circuits around the globe. This means that there should be no doubt about this vehicle in particular.
