Next Generation Land Rover Defender Heading to US

Next generation Land Rover Defender is a proposition that will take shape in foreseeable future for the U.S. market. The fore-runner was displayed at The Paris Motor Show 2012 based on the DC 100 Concept vehicle shown at The Frankfurt Auto Show 2011.

The Defender was showcased at Paris as a special gesture to obtain attention from the media and the enthusiasts keeping in mind that the current model of Land Rover will get an international exposure in the forthcoming James Bond film to be released on November 9, 2012.

A plug-in hybrid to connect with the powertrain of the Evoque, Eight-speed automatic Transmission, Automatic stop & start devic, Four-wheel drive, Sensors for fording water, Deployable tire spikes, Terrain responsive GPS.

Next generation Land Rover Defender will be engineered by the J & LR design a development Wing to match the U.S. Crash Safety and Emission standards.

This rugged all terrain SUV will be a global model with prime focus on the U.S. market when it arrives in the market most likely in 2015 but there could be some delay also and an extended time frame upto 2017 for the Next Generation Land Rover Defender to Hit-the-Road.

The design, production and management teams at J & L R are working hard on making the Next Generation Land Rover Defender and identifying its justifiable global presence.
