Like it or not, it seems that the Japanese automaker, Nissan, always has something to do in order to attract potent buyers as well as to delight its loyal fans. In addition to developing quality and attractive vehicles in its factories around the world, the company seems to have a lot of customer relation activities to tackle as well. Recently, the company has managed to break the record for the longest duration of twin vehicle drifting.
The Japanese automaker managed to set a new record for the twin vehicle drifting during the recent Nissan 370Z Drift Experience that took place in Dubai, UAE. As the name of the event implies, the company uses a pair of its 370Z vehicle model to set the new drifting record. In the event, the two Japanese sports cars attempted to drift around a track continuously and simultaneously for as long as they can. In the end, both cars managed to drift as far as 28.52 km before they came to a halt. By far, this is the longest drifting record in the history of twin vehicle drifting.
Taking advantage of the event, Samir Cherfan, the Managing Director for Nissan Middle East, stresses out how strong the company’s 370Z model is. Otherwise, the cars in the event would not have successfully managed to set the new Guinness World Record for twin vehicle drifting. In addition to that record, however, Cherfan points out that the company has even achieved a number of Guinness World Records as well.
Cherfan also takes the liberty of reminding each and every single one of us about the fact that the Z series from the company has always been among the top choices when it comes to the world of drifting. So, the new record only makes it clearer that the Z vehicle models from Nissan, such as the 370Z, really has what it takes to make drifting look like something that requires no special skills to tackle.
