Nissan has recently announced the pricing of the 2015 GT-R Nismo for the United States. The car will be come with a base price of $ 149,990 which excludes a $1,595 destination and handling fee.

Set to go on sale on July 31th, the high-performance model comes fitted with a twin-turbo 3.8-liter V6 engine that is able to generate an output of 600 hp (447 kW) and 481 lb-ft (651 Nm) of torque. It is further mated to a six-speed sequential dual-clutch transmission and an all-wheel drive system that enabled the car to set a somewhat contested Nürburgring lap time of 7:08.679.

The GT-R Nismo will be available in five exterior colors – Solid Red, Jet Black, Super Silver, Pearl White and Matte Gray. It will also come nicely equipped with features such as LED headlights, Recaro sport seats, a red-accented tachometer and a multi-function display. The model also has an eleven speaker Bose audio system that delivers sound quality suitable for a super car.

The price of the car seems to be pretty high and it is even higher than a Porsche 911 Turbo and so let’s see what response it gets from the customers.
