Nissan GT-R Nismo spied with massive rear wing

by SpeedLux

A prototype of the Nissan GT-R Nismo with a large rear wing has been spied recently undergoing testing on the tracks of Nürburgring in Germany.

Previously, there have been several spy pictures that have surfaced on the web of the hotter GT-R but they all had a normal-sized rear wing. However our sources have informed that Nissan changed the rear wing for two of their prototypes and decided to conduct some further testing on the tracks. We can conclude for this statement that Nissan and Nismo are in that part of the development process where they are testing various aerodynamic components.

One of the prototypes of the company featuring the normal rear wing managed to complete the lap at Nordschleife in 7 minutes and 28 seconds which isn’t the best result but Nissan’s objective is to set a time of less than 7 minutes and 18 seconds.

Not much details are available, but there are speculations that are suggesting that the car will be able to achieve 0-62 mph (0-100 kmph) sprint in a mind-blowing 2 seconds which is due to a slightly lower curb weight and an output of around 570 hp (425 kW) produced by an updated twin-turbo V6 3.8-liter engine.
