For those who have yet to notice, the 2016 model year GT-R sports car from the Japanese automaker, Nissan, is currently available for order already. The car bears a price tag starting from $101,770 in the US soil. Now, however, the Japanese company has also unveiled an anniversary edition of the model. Wrapped in a premium golden hue of sorts, the car is going to be known as the 2016 Nissan GT-R 45th Anniversary Gold Edition.
According to the information given out by the Japanese company to the public, customers ordering this special edition model will be eligible for a number of unique elements that they won’t find on the standard variant. These elements include a commemorative emblem attached onto the dashboard of the vehicle, a golden VIN plate and a Silica Brass exterior. However, if you still don’t fancy the cars in spite of all those elements, Nissan has also confirmed that the special edition variant of the car is also going to come with a set of special wheels, carbon fiber rear spoiler, leather sport seats from Recaro and also 2-tone cabin theme. For all these elements, however, you will have to opt for the Nissan GT-R Black Edition whose price sits at the figure of $111,510.
Now, what can the car offer when it comes to performance? Well, for one, the car hides a slightly tweaked version of a 3.8L V6 engine with twin turbochargers. Thanks to this very engine, the car receives 550 bhp of power output in total.
Ultimately, for customers willing to get the most out of the 2016 Nissan GT-R, they may as well go for the Nismo edition. This one spits out 600 bhp and 651 Nm of power and torque, respectively. As for its price, the car is available for $149,990.
