The German based automaker Opel is all set to develop a convertible version of the Adam model, and will be officially showcased at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show.

Rumors claim that Opel has been working on the Adam Cabriolet, since the model was showcased at the Paris stand, and now they claim that the final production version of the model will make its public debut next year, at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, in March, they also say that the model wont be convertible but it will be something similar to the Fiat 500C or to the Citroen DS3 Cabrio. Further details are limited for the time being, but let me just tell you that the regular Adam model will get to see three petrol efficient engines, the 1.2 liter with 70 HP, the 1.4 liter with 87 HP and the 1.4 liter with 100 HP, mated to a five-speed manual transmission, all these units will get the ecoFLEX technology package and the start/stop system which helps to cut down the CO2 emissions and improvise fuel consumption. The new 1.0 liter turbocharged unit will also become available on the Adam eventually.
