According to a pretty reputable German media, the luxury automotive marquee from the German soil, Mercedes-Benz, is planning to offer customers the chance of ordering its facelifted A-Class model starting from July this year itself. Meanwhile, the deliveries of the vehicle are expected to start in September 2015. That is the same time the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show will kick off.
In case you forget, the A-Class facelift from Mercedes-Benz is going to sport similar visual modifications to those of the German company’s B-Class facelift model. Interestingly, though, it is believed that the upcoming A-Class facelift will be packing a turbocharged 2.0L 4-cylinder engine under its hood. Believed to be available in the AMG variant of the German company’s A45 model, this engine should be able to develop no less than 380 PS. As reported previously, the German automaker is determined to have it’s A-Class facelift beat its rival, the Audi RS3 Sportback and a power output of 380 PS should be adequate for the company’s upcoming A-Class to do just that.
Thanks to that engine, the car can sprint from a standstill to the speed of 100 km/h in only 4.5 seconds. As for the top speed of the vehicle, Mercedes-Benz has limited it electronically to the figure of 250 km/h.
If recent industry reports are to be believed, keen buyers of the upcoming Mercedes-Benz A-Class facelift will also be expect to receive LED headlamps in place of bi-xenon bulbs. In addition to that, they can also expect the presence of LED ambient lighting, Wi-Fi hotspot capability, enhanced safety systems and several other changes.
