It is said that the Range Rover wiil get a hybrid version which will be powered by 288hp and a peak torque of 412 lb-ft from a V6 engine, which would include a integrated magnet electric motor with 47 hp and 126 lb-ft of torque with a 1.7 kWh lithium-ion battery. So with that the total output comes to 333 bhp, which helps the car to accelerate a sprint from 0-62 mph in 7.4 seconds.
It should also be noted that the Range Rover which be for the over-seas features a choice of two gasoline engines- first a 5.0 liter V8 engine with 375 HP and secondly a 5.0 liter supercharged V8 engine with 503 HP. The first engine will be able to accelerate from a standstill to 60mph in 6.5 seconds whereas the second one in 5.1 Seconds.
On the Old Continent, the engine lineup will be made out of a 2,993cc twin turbo 24V V6 diesel, with 255 BHP and 442 lb-ft of torque, a 4,367cc twin turbo with 335 BHP and 516 lb-ft and a supercharged V8 petrol with 504 BHP and 461 lb-ft of torque.
