Pininfarina Chords Concept rendered

The well known, Istituto Europeo di Design (IED) had this graduate student Giampiero Sbrizzi as a transportation design graduate who has come with this creation of Pininfarina Chords Concept.

The design study is a futuristic, compact sportscar, which draws inspiration from music. This car is 3850mm long, 1650mm wide and 1300mm tall, this vehicle has a system of vibrating strings and also it comes with a device which is able to convert low-frequency vibrations into energy, and this technology has been developed by MIT(Massachusetts Institute of Technology) and is called Mini Energy Harvester. These Strings are attached to the vehicle’s exterior elements which are produced from tropical wodd, mahogany, while the carbon fiber and composites plastics were used for Body Panels.
