Police state an Uber driver is dealing with kidnapping and assault charges after taking an unconscious female traveler to a Maryland hotel.
Prince George’s County Cops stated Uber driver Westagne Pierre got a female traveler at a bar in the District of Columbia and took her to a hotel about 10 miles northeast in College Park rather than dropping her off in her home located in Virginia. At the hotel, cops state Pierre brought the lady from the vehicle into a hotel room.
The Washington Post reports that charging files state Pierre can be seen on motel surveillance video bringing the unconscious lady to a room. Authorities state Pierre likewise utilized the lady’s charge card.
Esteban Gergely, an attorney for Pierre, informs the paper that Pierre rejects there was an absence of consent.
