Only recently, someone has seemingly managed to snatch a picture of the upcoming sports car from Germany. Yes, we are talking about a facelifted version of the 911 Turbo from the luxury German automaker, Porsche, here. At the moment it was caught on camera, the car seemed to be undergoing some road tests. Well, it was only a week earlier that a number of spy images of the Porsche 911 prototypes hit the web. Now, someone has already snatched an image of the Turbo version of the luxury German sports car.
As can be seen on the adjacent spy image, the Porsche 911 Turbo facelift spotted here is very likely the final production model. The image depicts that the car barely wears any camouflage at all. It is only the taillights of the vehicle that are covered in camouflage and it is even just a thin one.
The facelifted version of the vehicle seems to be featuring a number of changes when compared to the present generation model. The upcoming vehicle is going to feature a set of restyled gills on the engine hood, to begin with. In addition to that, there are also going to be restyled exhaust pipes, along with newly designed lamps. Additionally, it seems that the rear bumper will also look different from that of the present generation Porsche 911 Turbo. On the facelift, a small reflector is visible on the right side of the lower rear bumper.
It is believed that engine will carry over from the present generation model. As a reminder, the 2014 Porsche 911 Turbo packs a 3.8L engine with six inline cylinders. This engine gives the vehicle a total power of 520 hp. Yet, for the S trim, power is rated at 560 hp. The car also benefits from a 7-speed dual clutch transmission (DCT) system and a four-wheel-drive (4WD) drivetrain. The car needs just 3.2 seconds to reach the speed of 100 km/h from a standstill. The Turbo S version is even one second faster.
