Porsche Cayenne Platinum Edition announced, based on the Cayenne V6 & Cayenne Diesel

Porsche has recently introduced the Cayenne Platinum Edition.

Designed to be stylish, the special edition comes equipped with bi-xenon headlights, privacy glass and 19-inch Cayenne Design II wheels with colored Porsche crests. The model has a Platinum Silver Metallic exterior paint but other colours such as Black, White, Meteor Grey Metallic, Basalt Black Metallic, Mahogany Metallic and Carrara White Metallic are also available upon request.

Talking about the interiors, it comes with dual tone and boasts partial leather seats, a SportDesign steering wheel and a Porsche Communication Management (PCM) system with GPS navigation. Other highlights of the cabin include anti-dazzle interior mirrors, special floor mats, “Platinum Edition” sill plates, ParkAssist and a Power Steering Plus system.

The Cayenne Platinum Edition comes fitted with a 3.6-liter V6 petrol engine that would generate 300 HP (220 kW) and 400 Nm (295 lb-ft) of torque. The company will also offer a Cayenne Diesel Platinum Edition that will be equipped with a 3.0-liter V6 diesel engine that would generate 245 HP (180 kW) and 550 Nm (368 lb-ft) of torque.

The pricing for special edition kicks off from €66,379 for the Cayenne Platinum Edition and €67,212 for the Cayenne Diesel Platinum Edition in Germany.
