Quant e-Sportlimousine Gets Production Green Light

by David Bond

There may only be a few people who really know about the nanoFLOWCELL and its Quant e-Sportlimousine. Well, for those who don’t know, here’s the deal about this company and the car it is trying to produce for the masses. The automaker is based in Germany and just recently, it had already managed to acquire the license to test drive its car on German roads. Now, after some time, the company has proudly announced that the car has received production green light. It is said that the car will be handled by the company’s nanoProduction division. However, there are quite a few tasks that the company will have to tackle.

First of all, the nanoProduction will be put in charge of negotiating terms with partners and suppliers alike. Then, the division in question will also have to think about the homologation for the vehicle. To do what it is supposed to do, the division will be based in the city of Waldshut, Germany.

The Quant e-Sportlimousine will be running on the engine previewed at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show. This engine takes advantage of a special electrolyte fluid that goes past two cells paired with each other. A membrane connects both these cells and the fluid electrons are supposed to go through this particular membrane. In turn, this results in electrical current which is capable of giving the car enough power to run. Although the technology is considerably new, it may as well prove to be the technology of choice in the future of the automotive industry, thanks to the efficiency it has to offer. This engine, however, is also accompanied by four traditional style electric motors which have a total power output of 920 hp.

Thanks to the engine configuration it has, the Quant e-Sportlimousine is able to hit the 100km/h mark in mere 2.8 seconds. In addition to that, the car can hit the speed of 350 km/h tops.
