Radical has recently announced its plan to introduce a new race version of Xtreme coupe.
According to the car manufacturer, the so-called Radical Xtreme Coupe weighing about 900 kg and the model is 4,300 mm long, 1,960 mm wide and 1,127 mm tall.
The body of Le Mans inspired road car is made up of composite body sections which is being “sustained” by a tubular spaceframe.
It consists of full width carbon fiber bi-plane rear wing, along with the front and rear diffusers,.
Power to the Radical Xtreme Coupe is being provided by a 3.7 liter V6 engine, produced by Ford, which would produce a total output of 380 BHP at 6,750 rpm and with a peak torque of 320 lb-ft is available from 4,250 rpm. The power to weight ratio stands at 422 BHP per tone and this is translated into a 0 to 62 mph sprint of just 2.8 seconds.
This model will go on sale next summer and will be priced at 89500 GBP.
