The awesome looking Range Rover Evoque Convertible may not see the production stage as per some reports floating around.
The Range Rover Evoque Convertible was first previewed in the last year’s Geneva Motor Show and was considered to be as good as its hardtop version. However, as per the Car and Driver, the British carmaker has decided not to produce the convertible variant of Range Rover Evoque.
The decision was not very surprising one because the car caters to a very niche and small market and hence the sustainability and profitability may become an issue. However, this would mean that the Nissan Murano Cross Cabriolet will continue to dominate the small and convertible SUV market till any other car decided to come in.
Land Rover would infact go for a Range Rover Evoque with brand new retractable panoramic sunroof which will give it a wider market and more presence in the auto industry.
