The Sin R1 will be exhibited in road-legal guise next month at 2014 Autosport International where it will be showcased together with its race-spec sibling.
The road-going version is going to be significantly heavier by 240 kg (529 lbs) as compared to the track variant and will ride on 19-inch alloy wheels. The Sin R1 will make use of high-performance brake discs together with an F1-style fuel tank and a tubular spaceframe chassis.
Under the hood, power will be derived from the same GM-derived V8 6.2-liter engine generating an output of around 525 HP (386 kW) which should enable the Sin R1 to achieve the 0-62 mph (0-100 kmph) sprint in just 2.5 seconds and will be able to hit a top speed of 200 mph (322 kmph).
The model might be a limited edition and so the production will probably be extremely limited. Talking about the pricing, each car may come with a starting tag of 60,000 GBP (approx. 98,000 USD / 71,700 EUR).
Well certainly great news for the car lovers and fans who would be waiting to get the car in their garages and get the feel of the track racing by driving the road-legal version.
