Saleen 351 Mustang enters production

Saleen has officially launched the production version of its 351 Mustang.

Considered to be a perfect blend of design, technology and power, the model comes with features such as modified bumpers, revised side skirts, a “Red Butterfly” ram air hood, rear diffuser, a rear spoiler and 20-inch alloy wheels covered with high-performance tires. In terms of interiors, the changes are limited but include leather / Alcantara seats, illuminated door sill plates, special floor mats and an individually-numbed dash plaque.

Power comes from the supercharged 5.7-liter V8 engine that features forged aluminum pistons, high-performance valve springs and new fuel injectors. This enables the engine to generate mammoth 700 hp (521 kW) and 655 ft-lb (887 Nm) of torque. The engine is mated to a six-speed manual transmission that has a high-performance clutch and a lightweight flywheel.

The 351 Mustang is available as both, a coupe or convertible and the pricing starts from $82,634.
