One of the automakers that are trying to rise up once again in the world, Skoda, has now officially unveiled the interior design of its upcoming Superb model. Well, to tell the truth, the company has reportedly been working on the model for quite some time, so it is about time it actually unveils one or more parts of the vehicle. Unlike other automakers that are mostly just teasing the public with what their vehicle will most likely have in store, Skoda has released official images that actually depict clearly what to expect from its Superb vehicle model.
Taking a close look at the images, those who are keen on buying the new Skoda Superb will be eligible for some sorts of a business dashboard typical of the Skoda brand, to begin with. Honestly speaking, the design is rather boxy and looks a bit old-fashioned when compared to what most other automakers are offering with their vehicles. Nonetheless, this does not necessarily mean that the next generation Skoda Superb is not luxurious.
In fact, the car comes with a considerably large touchscreen display, climate controls and also a 3-spoke steering wheel integrated with control buttons, just like the one found on the Skoda Octavia, which is essentially a smaller version of the Superb. Other notable components include chocolate brown leather upholstery, DSG transmission and an electric parking brake.
Speaking of the new Skoda Superb, it has a larger dimension than its predecessor does. As a result, it becomes one of the largest vehicles money can buy in the mid-size sedan segment. Thankfully, the trunk capacity has also increased. Owners of the vehicle can now put no less than 625 liters of luggage into the trunk of the car now. Better yet, when the rear seats are folded, the new Skoda Superb can actually accommodate 1,760 liters of luggage. However, unlike before, the trunk now no longer features a dual opening mechanism as the company claims it is too complex to operate.
Based on the VW Passat B8, the new Skoda Superb will reportedly bow at the Geneva Motor Show this oncoming March.
