Just 500 copies of this muscle-coupe named the Mopar ’10 Challenger is going to be available with the dealers in August. The basic design being drawn from the Challenger R/T which has the 5.7 liter Hemi V8, there is going to be a number of modifications to arrive at the final Mopar that would be available for sale.
With a brilliant black as its base color the Challenger would also be available in three accent color options of Mopar Blue, Red or Silver. The color also is as exclusive as the car itself. The accent colors appear on side stripes and the stitching of the steering wheels as well the upholstery of the seats.
The wheels that are fitted on the Mopar ’10 are 20 inch forged wheels of heritage gloss black style. The car would also get a chrome grille surround and a functional vented T/A-style hood having vintage hood pins. The front fascia would carry the Mopar logos and graphics as well the same would be seen on the chromed fuel door. There would also be a special Mopar 2010 cover that comes along with the car.
Interior would be done up with Katzin leather upholstery with the steering wheel being wrapped in custom leather having baseball stitching. The shift handles would be either T handle for the automatics or Pistol grip for manual system. It would also get a serialized plaque with the Mopar ’10 logo running its entire length.
For performance improvements there is the hood-venting system which comes with a unique engine cover. There is also the cold air intake and the front strut tower with shock caps as well a rear strut tower brace.
The starting price for the Mopar ’10 is $38,000 which is about €30,200 for the automatic model and the start price for the manual gear box version is $39,000. There is a destination fee of $750 that would be levied for both version of the car.
