The Spyker announced its plan to unveil an on road version of their GT2 sports car specifically for the Chinese market. This announcement comes after Lamborghini removed the veil from the Murciélago LP 670-4 SuperVeloce China Limited Edition. The Official debut is however, expected to be made this October.

The production version is expected to be more comfortable for the driver. In addition, it will also be longer, wider. The future Chinese edition of the C8 Spyder GT2 will feature specific, both inside and out, design elements similar to that of the Lamborghini model. The engine uprate would make the C8 Sypder more suitable for regular driving.

The Spyker, to be released in 2013, has planned a four-door model. This model would is planned to compete with models like Porsche Panamera, Jaguar XF and the cheaper Passat CC. Because of huge potential of the China, to become the largest automotive market in the world, more of such “special edition models” are expected to be released by all major players in near future.
