SRT has recently revealed pricing information for the 2014 Viper.
For the new model year SRT has increased the Viper’s starting price by 1,919 USD and now it stands at 101,309 USD, which includes the destination fee but without the 2,600 gas guzzler tax. The GTS version remains the same at 122,390 USD, while the pricing of the Time Attack variant has not been revealed yet but there are speculations that it will be slotted between the base model and the GTS.
For this price increase, the company is offering a generous standard equipment list that includes a backup camera, navigation, HD radio, 12-speakers Harman Kardon audio system with two subwoofers and Uconnect infotainment. There’s also an option to fit 18-speaker sound system which is priced at 1,995 USD which makes it cheaper by 1,000 USD as compared to the 2013 model year.
Under the hood, the power is provided by the same V10 8.4-liter engine that produces 640 hp (477 kW) and 814 Nm (600 lb-ft) of torque. Output is sent to rear wheels and is well connected to a six-speed manual gearbox. This enables the car to achieve the sprint of 0-60 mph (0-96 kmph) in the “low 3-second range” and can hit a top speed of 206 mph (331 kmph).
