Subaru has recently updated its XV crossover for the 2014 model year in UK.
The moderately updated XV is scheduled to go on sale in United Kingdom this month with lower levels of noise, vibration and harshness (NVH). The versions equipped with the 2.0-liter gasoline mill will also benefit from new valve-train components designed to diminish engine noise along with several suspension modifications that have improved ride quality. Subaru has installed additional sound-proofing material in the bulkhead to better insulate the cabin.
The updated model now comes with an updated electronic power steering which has improved feel and stability thanks to a dynamic damper system that reduces steering wheel and column vibrations. The engineers have also reshaped the front suspension lower-arm which is now thicker while around the A-pillar are additional reinforcements to make the XV safer.
Talking about the interiors, there’s now a tire pressure monitoring system, an instrument cluster gear shift indicator, silver surrounds for the heater and steering wheel buttons, together with glossy black switches for the AC system.
Pricing in UK starts with 21,995 GBP for the entry-level 2.0i SE model and goes up to 25,995 GBP for the range-topping 2.0D SE Premium trim.
