Would the Toyota FT-86 be able to wear the Supra badge is a question that is doing the rounds of the world wide web. This is specially due to the re-trademarking of the Supra badge which has been a known legendary symbol from Toyota.

There are other cars too which would be probable’s for the Supra badge. There is the Subaru working on the STI version of the coupe which is going to be a joint project. Toyota would make a wise decision if they re-marketed their Supra nameplate and stuck it to this car. It would also mean the FT-86 would only have the Celica badge.

Not merely restricted to these two cars the Supra badge could spring a complete new surprise. The Supra is expected to return only by the beginning of 2012, so there is a lot of time to wait in between.
