Suzuki S-Cross headed to Geneva

Suzuki, the small Japanese car maker is planning to bounce back with a bang and this time it is the European market it has set its eyes on.

Actually this is the actual concept that was to be unveiled. After the successful launch of the SX4, the Japanese brand is targeting the upper class of the market with the all-new C-Segment crossover, a noted version of the S-Cross that was revealed last year in Paris Auto Show.

Frankly speaking, Suzuki has been boasting that its new concept is a brand new vehicle, and not a direct replica of the SX4. It is true in the sense that they don’t have any collaboration with any other major vehicle manufacturer and they are on their own. If facts are to be believed then they have built and developed this slightly bigger crossover on their own, with a small diesel engine.

If there is a rough and touch compact car from the Suzuki stable that can handle the rough stuff and is relatively compact, then there’s always the aging Grand Vitara model. Whereas the S-cross would be mainly aimed more at rich city drivers.
