We have showed you computer renderings of the Corvette C6 based SV 9 Competizione. This time we have photos of the actual production car.
SV 9 Competizione is built around a Corvette C6 and features a unique lightweight(carbon fiber) body.
Interior features carbon-fiber-reinforced racing seats upholstered in hand-stitched Italian leather supplied by Mario Levi SpA (the same source used by Ferrari), and either a burl-wood or carbon-fiber finished steering wheel and matching, custom-rendered, instrument panel and console.
It is 132 pounds lighter than the stock Corvette C6 thanks to the extensive use of carbon fiber. LS3 engine output is increased from 436 horsepower to 450 horsepower and 445 lb-ft of torque. 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) takes 4.0 seconds and quarter mile can be passed in 12.0 seconds.
SV 9 Competizione is priced at $99,995 and production will be limited to 1,000 units, which does not make it rare compared to Italian sports cars, but rare enough if you compare it to a stock Corvette.
