Tata Motors is going to release their flagship Hexa in January 2017. Having made its Indian introduction at the Auto Expo previously this year, Tata was anticipated to release the Hexa at the festive season. The car manufacturer has now arranged its launch for January 18, 2017.
Functioning the Tata Hexa is the 2.2-litre Varicor 400 engine, which was first observed on the Tata Safari Storme. It delivers 156 PS of power and 400 Nm of torque, however in this situation, it is a lot smoother and refined.
There are 2 drivetrain alternatives offered– 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic.
The 6-speed manual gearbox variation features four selectable drive modes– Auto, Comfort, Dynamic and Rough Road. ‘Comfort’ is suggested for city driving and focuses on delivering much better fuel efficiency.
Dynamic mode makes the throttle reaction a bit more aggressive and makes the vehicle feel stylish. Hexa is front wheel drive in comfort and vibrant modes, and all-wheel-drive in the ‘Rough Road’ mode for much better off-road abilities.
‘Auto’ mode switches between all these modes depending upon the input from the motorist while steering and velocity.
It features with ConnectNext infotainment system provided by Harman, with 10 speakers inside the automobile and supports AUX, USB, SD card and shows navigation through the NaviMaps app set up on the user’s linked smartphone.
