In India, when one thinks of purchasing a sedan under Rs. 15 lakhs ($22,386), the Honda City is one of the option that comes to mind. It is one of the best-selling sedans manufactured by Honda in India. As per a report, the Honda City facelift is expected to be launched on February 14.
The company has released and shared the teasers of the new Honda City, wherein it is informed that the bookings for the car have begun. The Maruti Suzuki Ciaz, its competitor is also expecting a facelift this year.
On the outer structure, the Honda City took inspiration from Honda Civic. The new LED headlamps are tweaked and provided with daytime running lamps. The front bumper has been restyled in defined way so as to provide more prominent divisions for the front air dam and fog lamp housings.
At the rear side, the new tail lamps and a tailgate-mounted spoiler with Led inserts are included. The new Honda city is expected to retain the same power source of about 1.5-litre petrol with 1.5-litre diesel engines. It could also include a revised suspension and a raised suspension setup to render better and extreme performance in the Indian road conditions.
The other new additions to the new car include 16-inch diamond cut alloy wheels, electric sun roof, seven inch touchscreen infotainment system, six airbags, LED tail lamps, LED fog lamps and an engine start-stop system as well.
