The 2012 Bmw M6 – A Preview

by Alex

Bimmer Boost has made available the renderings of the BMW M6 that is likely to be out in 2012. Based on the Concept Gran Coupe, the BMW 6 Series is shown featuring an aggressive rear bumper that has a diffuser integrated into it. Further, the M6 is shown having aerodynamic side skirts along with front fender vents. A four-tailpipe exhaust system completed the picture in the rear.

Not much detail is available of the 6 Series though its likely to have under its hood a twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8 engine capable of an impressive 570 hp or 425 kW of power and will perhaps share this powertrain with the upcoming BMW M5. The engine has  enough juice to propel the M6 to 60 mph or 96 km/hr from standing still in less than 4.2 seconds.

More details are awaited.
