Scion tC Release Series 10.0

Scion‘s extremely last brand-new automobile is a special edition tC Release Series 10.0. It’ll debut together with some historical Scion concepts at the 2016 New York Automobile Show.

“We’re not dead yet!” That’s what Scion will send out next week at the New York Automobile Show when it takes the phase with its last new automobile, the tC Release Series 10.0.

For its last act, the tC gets an aero kit by JDM designer Ken Miura, including a front lip spoiler, brand-new rocker panels, a lower rear spoiler, and a little wing located on the deck. Blacked-out Scion badges and gloss black alloy wheels contrast versus this tC’s special Barcelona Red paint.

It’s not all for program, either. The Release Series 10.0 consists of TRD reducing springs and TRD-tuned dual exhaust. Inside, red and black puts onto the brand-new seat inserts, and there’s similarly-toned contrast sewing on the shift boot, parking brake cover, and steering wheel.

Just 1,200 units are going to be developed, readily available with a six-speed manual or automated transmission. The manual vehicle will opt for $23,985, and with the six-speed car, include $1,150.

It’s all really fitting– Scion was presented to the United States at the New York show in 2002, and over the previous 14 years, the tC was the brand name’s most popular vehicle (and among its longest-running). To celebrate the event, Scion will likewise reveal a few of its most popular showcars, consisting of the initial 2002 BBx idea, 2009 iQ concept, as well as 2011 FR-S concept– the “Friggin’ really Sweet” automobile, if you remember.
