However such indulging features a large cost. Starting at EUR55,000 ($61,135), it can rise by EUR10,000 ($11,115) for even more bells and whistles – a high cost for a five-seater. The seven-seater choice is not readily available here. Competitors such as the Audi Q5, BMW X3 and Volvo XC90 start at entry costs that are about EUR10,000 lower. Ford may need to think of the method of generating only high-level trim designs, Titanium and Sport, as a more appealing price structure would aid sales.
