Too much is not enough: 1200 HP Bugatti Veyron in the works

by Ron Grant

Rumors have been going around in the recent past that a “Super Veyron” might just come out of the Bugatti garage.

Everyone has been anticipating that a 1,200 hp Veyron will come to life. Recent proof that all our drooling will be worthwhile was a lecture delivered by the Veyron father, Prof. Ferdinand Piech, at the University of Technology in Vienna where he gave hints of a powerful Veyron that is about to create waves in the autoworld. No details were revealed though.

Piech, though not in the helm anymore, will be a very reliable source if really a 1,200 Bugatti Veyron is in the works. The production run of the current Veyron might be nearly coming to a close so it will be just logical to have something more aggressive to take its place.
