The Indian market doesn’t seem open to two-way powered car resulting in the lack of hybrid vehicles on Indian roads. But the present situation does not seem to deter Toyota makers from launching their latest Camry Hybrid in the Indian market. Though it is named ‘hybrid’, the design of this hybrid car is based on the normal Camry. The differences seen in this car are the redesigned headlamps, the front bumper and new grille. The car sports big wheels which are 17 inch in diameter. The rest of the car resembles exactly the gasoline version.
Beneath the hood there is an engine (2.5litre VVT-I having four cylinders) along with an electric motor which totals to 202 PS. The interior is spacious and the upholstery is of high quality. The other equipment used in the interior of the car are four airbags ensuring the safety of maximum passengers, EBD, ABS, Bluetooth connectivity, infotainment system with touch screen, cooled front seats, cruise control and three-zone climate control.
