Two dead after single-car crash on I-10 near Sulphur

Two were killed after a fatal crash that took place on I-10 near Sulphur in Louisiana.

Officials were dispatched to the location of the crash that took place after a vehicle hit a tree around 2:43 a.m. on Saturday.

On arrival, officers saw that a 2020 Kia Rio driven by a male identified as Xane Johnson of Westlake had driven off the road while traveling west and hit a tree.

The vehicle was engulfed and Johnson with his passenger identified Ty Prudhomme of Sulphur died in the crash.
