Two people were killed including a Memphis Police officer and another driver after an overnight car crash in Southeast Memphis.
Three vehicles were involved in the crash that took place near the intersection of Shelby Drive and Pleasant Hill Road around 3 a.m.
Police say the officer was traveling in one of these vehicles east on Shelby Drive when another vehicle traveling north on Pleasant Hill hit the officer’s car.
The officer was admitted to Regional One Health where he was pronounced dead.
The other driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
No information has been provided about the third driver.
It is yet to be known that what caused the crash.
