Two dead after single-vehicle crash on Interstate 10 in California

Two people died after a single-vehicle accident on the Interstate-10 near Whitewater in California. 

The crash took place when the car was traveling eastbound and was swerving before it overturned and landed on the right shoulder. 

The crash happened just before 5 p.m. 

Identities of the victims are yet to be released.

California Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
