Two killed and one injured in Baker County, Florida

Two people were killed and one was injured in a car crash Friday night in Baker County, Florida.

The crash took place when a 48-year-old man and a 32-year-old man were riding in a blue Mercury Grand Marquis southbound on County Road 23A. The vehicle crossed over the center line into the path of a gold Ford F150 with a 23-year-old male driver.

The right side of the car struck the front left of the truck, and both vehicles spun into the ditch on the shoulder of the road.

Both the driver and passenger in the Mercury Grand Marquis were pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the Ford had small injuries.

Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
