Two individuals are facing charges after police stated that a driver cut off a Trooper, then was discovered with drugs in the vehicle.

Police say the incident occurred Friday night around 8:39 p.m., when a Trooper was driving on US-9-Lewes-Georgetown Highway. The trooper states another vehicle, being used by 29-year-old Keon Hopkins, cut him off after passing a yield sign.

Police state when they stopped the vehicle, they made contact with Hopkins and the occupant, 40-year-old Megan Bedo, who is the actual owner of the car. It’s then that they state they discovered marijuana, cocaine, and other drugs in the car.

Hopkins is now facing charges such as possession with intent to deliver, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of marijuana. Bedo is now facing charges such as possession of drug paraphernalia, tampering with physical evidence, and possession of marijuana.
